Regulations for a Successful Waste Collection - bag the loose stuff to prevent littering
- all garbage has to be put in large garbage bags rather then several small bags
- please be careful and double bag any items that can come through the bag
- keep it Light each filled bag should be lighter than 31
lbs
- garbage bins have to be located near the curbside
- waste has to be placed at the curbside by 8:00
a.m.
- please keep your waste bins clean and tidy
- please tie you bags before placing them in your
bins
- if you don’t use a bin please cover your waste
Waste
is collected year round. For storm days, the next possible collection day will be used. We do not collect on the following days: - New Years Day

- Easter Monday
- Victoria Day
- Canada Day
- Labour Day
- Rememberance
Day
- Christmas Day
- Boxing Day
If your collection
day falls on either one of these days, your waste will be collected on the next working day, unless otherwise mentioned.
